Park Seed Profusion AAS Mix Zinnia Seeds
The best dwarf zinnia ever grown, the Magellan series introduces bigger, more abundant blooms than ever before. These fully double, petal-packed beauties reach up to 5 inches wide and arise profusely all over
Profusion is the most adaptable bedding zinnia in the world, and this mix brings you 4 of its very best colors: the All-America Selection winners Orange, Cherry, Red, and White. There's no better source of color for sunny beds and containers this summer.
The Profusion series has changed the face of landscaping zinnias forever . . . thank goodness. These bushy plants, 14 to 18 inches high and 20 to 24 inches wide, are simply smothered nonstop all season with cheerful, 2-inch daisylike blooms. Ideal for mass plantings or containers. What's more, Profusion is highly tolerant of mildew and other foliage diseases, and laughs at heat, humidity, and drought. We are proud to give Profusion our highest recommendation for garden-worthiness.
Zinnia is one of the easiest annuals to grow, and they attract butterflies to the garden. It is the perfect cut flower—even these smaller bedding blooms are pretty in petite arrangements. And the more flowers you cut, the faster you get new ones on the plant. Profusion thrives in the sun and heat of summer, and asks only for well-drained soil. Butterflies and bees adore it, and it attracts the "good bugs" that keep pests off your vegetable plants. So be sure to decorate the veggie patch with this compact, colorful annual.
Direct sow the seeds in the warm spring soil, or start them indoors for spring transplant. Space the plants generously to prevent overcrowding. When cutting the blooms for the vase, trim off all the foliage; unlike the blooms, it does not age well.
You will love this colorful mix of 4 of the very best Profusions.
neat, well-branched little plants scarcely more than a foot high. If you love the bold colors and indestructible garden presence of zinnias, please treat yourself to this long-blooming, ultra-robust dwarf variety.
The flowers are packed with layer after layer of petals, with a frilly yellow center to cap them off. Expect them to range from 4 to 5 inches wide, and to radiate bright color over a long, long summer season. This mix contains all the bold Magellan colors you love: cherry, pink, orange, ivory, yellow, scarlet, and AAS-winning coral. And Magellan blooms just 6 weeks or so after sowing, so you're guaranteed a long and colorful summer.
Perfect for the front of the annual bed, containers, or as accents in the patio garden and perennial border, Zinnia Magellan holds up its big, heavy blooms beautifully, almost vanishing beneath their colorful heads at the height of the season. Deadhead the old flowers to keep new buds arising, and you'll get even more glorious color.
This series contains 7 separate colors (including AAS winner coral,) plus an economical collection containing one packet of each. Try them all and you can landscape with a palette of ultra-bright, long-lasting color.
